If you dont have insurance, its best to stay away because they will try to bill you for a higher visit cost later, the receptionist was very pleasant to us, when we walked in she explained to us the cost to see the PA was going to be $170.00 , any additional procedures or lab work would be more ( we understood) my husband paid the visit fee of $170.00. I took my son today to urgent care because he was stating he had UTI symptoms. The front desk was really nice. The PA and one of the assistants looked as if they were bothered I brought my son in. The PA comes in and states his results were negative like last time, made it seem as if I’m wasting their time. The other assistant I came out the room and smiled and she just disregarded me again making me feel as if I’m wasting their time. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We’re busy but still got us in and out in a timely manner. Would definitely go back again and recommend to friends and family. WAY better than spending hours at the ER!
On Saturday my 11 year old son experienced severe pain in his ear and throat. As a resident of Naugatuck and a parent I took my son to this urgent care. It was around 3 in the afternoon and we seen the lobby completely empty he was excited saying “mom we be in and out “. Once in there where two receptionist females asked if I had an appointment I said no I wasn’t aware and the response was sorry we can’t take you appointments first. I was in disbelief. The doctor seemed wonderful, the rest of the staff unprofessional and childish. I don’t think they know people have ears when they’re speaking horribly about you right outside of the room you’re in. The MA and the young kid behind the desk in the back behave very unprofessionally. The receptionist in the waiting area and the actual provider were nice enough and helpful. Should have read reviews before I went, clearly it’s a common theme.
