I had an excellent experience here with my son. As a healthcare worker myself I look and notice a lot of different and small things other non professionals may not and I have to say I was very impressed with everyone. The nurse on tonight was great at handling my tiredness and almost leaving because of the wait. She got me right in a room and did a strep swab right then to ease me. I would give this place a zero- rating if I could. Never have I had a bad experience at a hospital, urgent care or anywhere. Nor do I ever feel the need to complain. I took my child in here due to a high fever and respiratory issues. My child vomited upon arrival. When brought back, I was told by the nurse my child looked miserable and looked like he was struggling to breath & grunting. The first oxygen reading was 91. Second was 94. We had to take our 5 year old for an infected laceration that had gotten pretty bad and needed to be drained. We only had to wait about 5 minutes; the NP, Katie Tipton, is who we saw. She and her nurse took excellent care of our little one. They were very warm, calming, and explained everything thoroughly that was going to happen. We are very pleased with our visit at Urgikids and recommend anyone to visit here for help.

Excellent support when i took a 4 year old and 2 year old twins by myself. As the only parent that was able to get the children seen by a professional during the time I had 3 children all screaming and losing thier minds. The staff was very helpful wrangling the kids for me and they also gave each of them a fruit ice pop to calm them down during our visit. They were quick and effective with thier process knowing that the longer im there with all 3 children screaming the worse it will get.

Extremely Concerning Experience- Medication Error with a Child I visited this clinic on 2/3/26 for my son after reading the glowing Google reviews. Unfortunately, what we experienced was not just disappointing, it was alarming. During the visit, the NP did not take my son’s temperature or any vital signs. She only asked about his symptoms and diagnosed him with an ear infection. I was told she would prescribe amoxicillin to be taken twice a day for 10 days. That was it.
