Very knowledgeable and personable. He made me feel like I mattered, and took the time to listen to my explanation of what I was going through. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Kumar by my GP and have had nothing but pleasant experiences in all interactions with the front office staff, his nurse, and himself. Dr. Kumar REALLY took his time to hear me out, to explain everything to me, and I feel like I am in the hands of an experiences, caring, and compassionate doctor. It is hard to get an initial appointment but only because there are only two endocrinologists in the entire city. I am glad we get to have him here in Bloomington.
Dr. Kumar always takes the time to explain what is going on in terms that I can understand. I feel like I am able to make informed decisions.
Very disappointed. Waste of my time and money. He had no interest in finding what the cause of my diagnosis was. He pushed birth control multiple times even after I said I didn’t want that. He had my notes and blood work when he took me as a client and didn’t offer New treatment of the hormone balance. He wasn’t aware of some of the common supplements I was taking. It appeared to me that he was not current on research for my diagnosis.
If you have any choice at all do not use this doctor for anything more than routine care. His staff is very unpleasant and difficult to deal with. Dr. Kumar himself is not terrible, but refuses to address concerns and merely responds with patronizing platitudes. They are definitely NOT patient centered.
I would never visit this office again. Not only are they so backed up that it's challenging to get an appointment except several months out, the nurse staff was completely disingenuine, unhelpful, and careless with my paperwork needed. Even though they made a mistake with it they would not correct it and wasted my time. They had absolutely no empathy for my situation and had every opportunity to make the situation right but instead chose to stand behind their terrible policy.
