I purchased an excellent Black Phantom Double Edge OTF knife from this company about 3 years ago. I carry it with me consistently when not at work. I love the knife. Unfortunately, probably due to heavy usage, the spring mechanism got a little weak on occasion. Viper-tec was very quick to honor the lifetime warranty with a new knife of equal value. I am amazed at the integrity of the company. That is so rare nowadays. I would purchase another in a heartbeat.
amazing company! i got my boyfriend a knife for christmas from them in 2023 and he still uses it to this day and absolutely loves it!! he recently lost the screw and the belt clip for it, i emailed asking if there was a way to order those parts. they replied within the same day and asked about the knife it is for and the shipping address. they are sending replacement screws and a belt clip for free!! over two years later they are sending the parts for free and covering the shipping for something that was not their fault. cus... read more
A GREAT PRODUCT, BACKED BY THE PINNACLE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE🇺🇸 I have had my eye on the VIPER-TEC Valiant D2 for quite some time. I have countless VIPER-TEC otfs, I wanted to dip into the switchblade lane. When it went on sale at 50% off? I couldn't refuse to purchase one. I emailed them the other day about an issue that the rubber coating was coming off easy of the handle. I bought the knife in June of 2024. They told me that it’s not under warranty and that it’s wear and tear. I understand that part, but when the coating comes off easy even when you accidentally rub your fingers on it. I loved the knife, not asking for my money back but a paint job. And now the coating is coming off more and more each day.
The folks at Viper-tec were super friendly and accommodating! Let my husband geek out and try out all the blades to his hearts content. They offered great price-points and metal options, and wrapped up his purchase for the flight home. Thank you for your time!!
