I’ve been seeing Cynthia Ferguson for several years. I’ve followed her to each practice she’s relocated to. She’s very informative and compassionate! I will ONLY go to her, for all my dermatological needs!
Ms. Ferguson has provided me with skin care for several years now. She has developed a regimen to help me maintain healthy skin and she treats any outbreaks or other occurrences as they occur. She is an excellent clinician!

I had a terrible experience with Cynthia Ferguson was extremely rude, no bedside manner and unprofessional. I spoke when she walked into the room, she didn't speak back. We were discussing medication for eczema and I was told she didn't feel comfortable prescribing me clobesol cream which another doctor in the same office had prescribed in the past. When I first began seeing Cynthia she was very friendly and eager to help. However my last two visits I have encountered a very negative and dismissive energy/attitude from her. It is so bad that I have decided to stop booking with her and find a new dermatologist, which sucks because i was very eager to work with her after viewing her bio.
My appointment was scheduled for 3:15, I arrived at 3:22 and was informed Kelly does not see late patients and I would have to reschedule. They could have called me at 3:16 to inform me of this or they could have told me when I scheduled my appointment she does not see late patients. I have been going to Virginia Dermatology for years and have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism. Thank you for providing me the opportunity to find another dermatologist office that appreciate their clients.
