I went here a few months ago and the experience wasn't great. To start, the staff wasn't very friendly. Then my appointment was extremely rushed. Then doctor wanted me to start an expensive prescription/shot for my skin condition, which has horrible side effects. I agreed at first, but changed my mind. I'm just not impressed with this practice. The front desk lady was the only person in a good mood. The nurse I had was unfriendly and didn't even look at me when speaking with one another. I waited almost 45 minutes to just be told there's nothing they could do and that will be $50. I saw a nurse practitioner, and usually I prefer that but the one I saw just seemed like she was uninterested in what I had to say. She was nice but not really helpful.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience when I had a procedure done at VA. Dermatology and Skin Cancer center in Newport News. From the receptionist to all the staff and Doctors they all showed compassion, professionalism and made sure all questions were answered before and after my procedure. I could definitely tell they all had a passion for what they do and the people they serve. Regards, Mike Holland

Awesome! The staff was simply wonderful. I like a business that is approachable, and know their patients as they enter and exit the building. That's a win-win for me! I like to feel like the sitcom "Cheers," where everyone knows my name!

I was very pleased with the staff they made me feel very important. I had gone to another one first and was not treated well at all and they did nothing for me. Today I was so happy to have a good Dermatologist. I will tell everyone that needs to go to one to come to this place.
