I strongly recommend this shop. Walter is an honest and reliable guy, and I’ve trusted him with all my cars for years. Recently, I received a coupon from a local dealership offering a very cheap oil service, so I went there to take advantage of the deal. I came in with a broken axle on my 2500 Dodge Ram. It was a very difficult situation because the truck was not drivable and had to be brought in on a tow truck. To make things more complicated, the repair was under an extended warranty, so insurance was involved. Alex was able to figure out a way to get the truck up on the bay and also worked in collaboration with the insurance company to make sure the bill was covered. I've been taking my 1999 VW Passat to Walter for several years and have always been completely happy with his team's expertise and work. My last visit was 9/25/25 and Alex was able to diagnose and fix two issues that were preventing my car from passing a smog check, and fixed them both. And this was after I had wasted money on other VW mechanics closer to my home who couldn't fix the problems. I should have gone to Walter to begin with and I highly recommend W. E. Harding for your automotive needs.
