The doctors are great while you’re there. Getting in touch with them outside of your appointment time is a different story. We’ve called and been on hold for almost 40 minutes. We were told messaging through MyChart would be easier, but that was not true. I’ve sent my son’s doctor three separate messages over the past month and never received a response. I sent a message when my newborn was exposed to RSV and never got a response. I couldn’t even get an answer about whether I needed to schedule an appointment for him. When ... read more
Medicaid clinic, so the doctors are constantly rotating out. It seems that most of them are fresh outta medical school and just trying to get some experience before finding somewhere good to work. Not sure what the excuse is for how terrible the receptionists are. I get the impression that they’re having three course meals while you’re on hold and if they ever do pick up, you’re treated like you sabotaged their soufflé.
If I could give no stars, I would... anyways, this location takes foooooooorever to get anyone to answer the phone.. I mean, like 40 mins on hold. Then the lady who answered the phone clearly wants to be anywhere else other than answering said phone. She answered with a sign. Then asked what I wanted. Dr. Korteweg is remarkable (knowledge and care) with a friendly, helpful staff....real asset to Waco.
I am writing this while currently on hold I've been on hold for at least 40 minutes and they have not answered my call at all, the low ratings should tell you everything you need to know about this clinic!
