Dr Vera is only available 2 days a week, but his Nurse Practionar, Dr Maria V. saw me. ShE wrote the most excellent letter, that I needed for personal reasons re my phys I cal & mental issues. She also had it ready and available in a timely manner. She should be the head doctor there. NOT DR VERA.
I have used this clinic for 6 or 7 years now. I have had bad and good visits. I know that the doctors are doing their best with the amount of people that go through their doors. I would like to see more follow up communications due to my referrals. I no that there available I just have not had any good experiences. Like i did not know that i had to follow up and call them myself. My daughter has and likes the place I do go with her so we can share a ride and or gas. I’m so glad I’m taking over my dad’s care now. Dr Christopher Vera is the most arrogant, egotistical, doctor. My dad was hospitalized back in march due to a medication error on my dad’s part. But that hospitalization brought so many other health issues to light that Dr Vera should have caught. If you are doing routine lab work, why was my dad severely anemic? If you were paying attention to his labs you would have also caught the signs he was in stage 3 kidney disease. You would have also noticed he has liver failure. Not to... read more
I would give zero stars if that was an option. This was hands down the WORST experience I have ever had with a doctor. She was dismissive about every single concern. She does not want to run any tests or find any answers, she wants to put a medicine band aid on everything. And when I told her that I felt like I was being blown off, she told me that I’m reacting this way because “I am off my meds”. I do not take any meds to be off of to begin with. Waco family medicine Santa Fe on 25th Avenue is awesome place. Doctor Christopher d Vera helps me with all my needs he might be young but veryl very thoroughand doesn't watch the clock like it's time to go if you want to start up a new Doctor and a great relationship, you could tell him anything. He is a awesome person and is gonna be my hospice, I have stage for kidney cancer, and I am blessed to be alive each and every day with 5 and a 1/2 years with no cancer pain.
