First time visitor. Drove up from the Marietta landfill because "they was closed"(despite being told they were open when I called earlier.) Anyway, on to Canton. Great facility. Very easy to use. The cashier was very friendly. Everyone else was easy to deal with. No pressure at all and it was very affordable. A loaded to the gills 5x10 landscaping trailer full of construction debris less than 60 dollars. This will be my new go to. Always an unpleasant experience. Overcharged (60 for 1 truck bed) and they do nothing about a clear path to dump your trash. Signs say go to the left and halfway through dumping I get honked at saying it’s the wrong place and expect me to drive through mounds of trash to unload. Sorry I was putting my trash in the wrong trash pile? I’ve been to Douglas county’s dump and Cobb county’s dumps and they are much better run. This dump should be definitely get new management, clearly not doing a very good job.
It is a $50 minimum, but that's good for a full-ton per day and you can come back with a second load for no extra, just as long as the cumulative weight is less than 1 ton. Their hours are really good, and there's hardly any line.
This landfill is always easy to deal with. The facility is well-organized, and the process is smooth. The people at the scale are always friendly, helpful, and professional, making the visit hassle-free. It’s nice to be greeted with a smile and excellent customer service. No complaints at all!!!
Called to confirm that I can bring a couch to the landfill during business hours and how the cost is calculated so there are no surprises when I arrive. There was no answer, and I was sent straight to a full mailbox, which, to my understanding from others who have called is common. My immediate impression is that the company doesn't check the messages being left. Also, you spend the time to comment one-star responses but can't take the time to answer my call during business hours?
