I've spent my life learning to tell the difference between someone doing a job and someone committed to a mission. At Waverly Animal Hospital, it's clear they are on a mission. I would do anything for my dogs, and the staff at Waverly doesn't just hear that—they understand it in their bones. I've been to other vets, but Waverly is different. The trust I have in them is absolute, built on a foundation of unwavering, compassionate care. They operate from a place of empathy, not sympathy. They don't just see a chart or a task;... read more

Seemed like a nice staff, but dropped my boarding appointment over the holidays. My elder dog has special needs, and my reservation was canceled abruptly. Would have thought an "animal hospital" has measures in place to assist elder dogs. Installed the Rover app and had a wonderful experience for the same price!

This review is specifically for Dr. Morrissey. My cat was suddenly exhibiting signs of being in a lot of pain, despite not much else to go off of-- bloodwork and Xrays were perfect. I've had previous experience of vets (both at this clinic and elsewhere) in my life essentially throwing up their hands and going "I don't know, your cat seems to be fine. The employees seem to do well with my dog and always compliment him. They have signs all over asking you to "support small business" and have your prescriptions filled with them instead of Chewy or somewhere else. The signs show the difference in the cost of medicine being nominal, about 20-30 cents. My dog's carprophen that I got on Friday for $113 from here is available on Chewy for $48 (even cheaper if you auto order). I feel stupid and taken advantage of because, since I trusted them with my dog, I thought I could trust ... read more

Dr. Burke and the entire Waverly team worked tirelessly to save my ferret Vlad. We went to an emergency vet in Illinois, university of Illinois trying to figure out the problem and save my ferret for almost a month. Finally a CT discovered the problem and Dr. Burke and support staff cleared their schedule to perform emergency surgery the same day that solved the problem and saved my ferret Vlad. I highly recommend this vet to anyone looking for a solid ferret vet!
