Went to this clinic on Sunday, after 5 days of fever. The front desk staff was lovely and accommodating. Saw the doctor very briefly, was told some samples were being sent to the lab. Contacted another doctor Tuesday, sent to the lab the same day, results the next morning, on meds by Wednesday and finally healing. Called this clinic and asked why no one called me about my abnormal results only to be told that that doctor was out sick. My first visit to this clinic was lack luster. The opening receptionist seemed to have absolutely no customer service skills and was very rude. I went as a walk-in and was told that I need to make an online appointment, which defeats the purpose of being a walk-in clinic. However, I made an appointment for the next day for 2pm. Disappointing experience at the walk-in clinic I recently visited this clinic on a Saturday and my experience was quite frustrating. After a 2h30 wait, I was finally called by a very professional and competent nurse, who took the time to listen to my symptoms and make a good diagnosis. She then informed me that the doctor would see me. Unfortunately, it was from there that everything went downhill. I’m really disappointed with the recent changes at this clinic and the staffs response. It seems like they’re completely ignoring the core principles of the Canada Health Act by only offering an online booking system. When I tried to express my concerns, the receptionist just kept insisting, "It’s easy to book online," but that’s not the point. Highly recommended going to any other medical clinic. This place is horrible. You book an appointment and wait over an hour to actually get called in. Family doctor has taken almost year to full out my insurance papers, after taking 3 separate copies of the paperwork to her. And I still have not received the completed formed. Calling weekly at first to check and told I'll get a call back and never do, now I do a monthly call and still haven't heard back. Giving up on ever getting the insurance papers back.
