First, I would like to emphasize that I would give -5 stars if there was an option. Dr. Derek Chu was extremely unprofessional and very condescending. The amount of attitude and lack of empathy for a Doctor is extremely concerning. Prescribing whatever medication or treatment that resolves the consultation as quick as possible should not be the approach for any doctor. This review is about the Receptionist at Richmond Hill, Ontario, location, of not being helpful, and being rude. The purpose of my call was to reschedule an appt. I had had to call 4 times, over the course of 2 hours. I was asked to call back at a later time, hung up on, placed on long hold by the system, and placed on hold by the receptionist, who did not care to listen to my complete sentence before putting me on hold again. Dr Oykhman in the allergy clinic was superb! So knowledgeable and profession and caring. Took a long time to explain and share his wealth of knowledge and expertise. The nurses and staff were very friendly too.
#1 by far top exceptional and professional clinic there is !! Staff are awesome, with understanding/compassionate/respectful/ customer service above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of!!
Firstly the appointment did take approximately 5 months. However during this period, I did receive communication via email around 2 weeks prior to fill out an intake form along with a reminder for the date and time of appointment, as well as a day prior. I was there for allergy testing for my child. We were called in right on time. The nurse was so kind and friendly which eased the difficult part of having a young child get pricked about 30 times.
