Unprofessional, poor triage, and zero sense of urgency I had a terrible experience at this clinic on June 10th. I had just accidentally slammed my car door on my finger and was bleeding profusely. I drove myself here expecting basic urgent care or at least proper triage for an open injury. Despite the waiting room being completely empty, the front desk told me I would have to wait several hours because "the doctor takes a long time with each patient." Catherine Aligwara is an extremely thorough doctor. As a woman, I wanted a woman doctor. She’s the only doctor who’s offered to order an MRI for my painful symptoms when other doctors never even mentioned it. She ran extensive blood tests for all kinds of deficiencies I’ve never even heard of. She helped diagnose me with ADHD intentionally after helping me see an actual psychiatrist first who viewed family/school history. From appt time to actually seeing the doctor was over 2h and that was with me actively asking, complaining and inquiring. I dread to think how long I’d be stuck there if I said nothing, as many other patients were just left waiting endlessly. I was moved into many rooms but still no Doctor and the receptionist annoyingly allowed a family to add one 4 appts when they’d only made one. Extremely unserious operation. A health center that doesn’t do blood tests They did not start my appointment until 1 hour after, what was a simple lunch in and out turned into a half day commitment. Why make appointments if you can’t be witching 1 hour of them? The prescription also took an unreasonably long time with the pharmacist filling other patients prescriptions 2 hours 30 min of wasted time. DO BETTER
I was scheduled for a meet and greet at 2:45. Was ushered into a room at 2:35 weight, height and blood pressure taken. I asked why, the assistant had no clue. Obviously, it was so that they could charge for the visit. I waited for over 30 minutes. When I exited the room and said I was leaving for another appointment the doctor miraculously appeared.
