I am extremely disappointed with this MRI facility. I scheduled my appointment a month in advance and waited patiently, only to call on the day of my appointment and be told it was canceled—without ever notifying me! The reason? They claimed I was “too big” at 5’10” and 240 lbs, yet they never once measured me or confirmed this directly. How can you make such an assumption without even seeing the patient? To whom this may concern I had a very unpleasant time here for my MRI. The staff was nice but this MRI took way longer than it was needed to be. My appointment was scheduled at 3:30pm. I arrived at 3pm just to make sure I am early and to fill out the necessary forms because they do say come 15 mins before. The receptionist told me they are running 15 mins behind however this is false. They ran more then 2 hours behind. I wasted $20 on parking because parking is $6 an hour and I had to park my car more then 3 hours. I just w... read more

Pricing is reasonable and comparable to other places. It would help if the telephone receptionist would give more information when they call to inform you that more imaging is needed. I was very worried until I came to the office and the technician told me that the timing of contast was off with first scan. Although no charge for 2nd scan the 2 hour drive to Vancouver and 2 hours back home should not have been necessary.

I was pleased when False Creek could assist with getting me an MRI when I had an acute injury, but five weeks later I'm still waiting to get the images in a format that my specialists can read. The people at the clinic have been mostly helpful and sympathetic, but it's unacceptable that after paying top dollar for an MRI, the format in which images are provided are unreadable by most specialists. Our first contact with Maurice at False Creek was impressive. We were in a difficult position coming from a province with inadequate health care. He helped us to organize the testing that we needed in a most accommodating manner. We received pre testing information, had the test done and prompt follow up with what we needed to know. We will certainly return to false trek should we require their services again. Thank you Maurice and Dr. Vasquez.
