Had to go to WellNow last night - there was an odd turn of events that were no big deal to me, but as a 15 year nurse, I could see it being a huge deal for SOME patients. I wanted to bring it to someone's attention as just an FYI... the provider was the last one to stop by the room so i started to mention it to him. He was AMAZING. He shut the door, sat down, and listened to me. He said that had never occurred to him and was very thankful I brought it to his attention... outstanding!!!

I had a recent visit to Wellone urgent care. I had called to make sure they were able to process my insurance. The care I received was very thorough. I received xrays and referrals. I would recommend the practice.

I went to this WellNow on 9/12 and everyone, from the woman who checked me in to the nurses, was professional and courteous. They also texted me a couple days later to find out if I was feeling better. If I'm unable to see my regular doctor, I will definitely use their services again.

I just want to recognize WellNow Urgent Care. In this time where good,caring,personalized service is a rare commodity, WellNow, here in Dunkirk, NY, is a rare gem! Fantastic, courteous, caring, friendly, efficient,knowledgeable staff that seemed to truly be interested in what you were saying and in helping you feel better! I have been an RN for nine years and work in healthcare for a total of 13 years. I have lived in several different metropolitan and rural areas. I have never received such efficient or quality care in any ER or urgent care setting. The provider asked questions, listened to my concerns, and gave me a very thorough exam. Worst experience. I needed a covid test to travel to Canada. They promised results within 24 hours, up to 48 hours. I checked their portal for 2 days after receiving the test, checked my phone texts, called them twice. During the 1st call they said the lab was behind schedule. Then when I called again on the 2nd day, they said the lab had made an error and they couldn't process my test results. My son is a student at SUNY Fredonia who came to this walk-in clinic for a wellness check-up. Please be informed that if you are a patient who lives out-of-state and carries out-of-state health insurance, your charges at a WellNOW Urgent Clinic will be classified as "out-patient" services and billed as if you walked into a hospital. Instead of a routine "urgent care" visit that carries a $30 co-pay, I'm looking at a $300 charge for a 10-minute consultation that included checking his heartbeat and breathing.
