My daughter, who is 19, went for a work physical which was being paid for BY HER PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT! She doesn’t have a drivers license yet (she is going soon) but she needed the physical right away. So we went to wellnow to get it done. When they asked her for ID, I told them I had mine, plus her birth certificate AND social security card. Which is PLENTY enough to prove she is who she says she is. The urgent care Doctor that I saw via tele med was very good. Urgent care its self has gone down hill. I had an appointment (since you can make them online) and when I arrived at Urgent care was told there was an hour wait. I was not seen for 3 hours. They claimed that under the new Urgent care only 1 patient can be seen at a time and they put your name in a pool for Dr's, until 1 dr of 400 chooses your file. This is in Dubois, but they claimed all Urgent cares are the same.
It was a Sunday and I had an ear ache and sinus headache. I decided to go to Well Now instead of waiting until Monday to call my Doctor. The wait time was minimal. I saw a Nurse Practioner. She was thorough and diagnosed me with acute sinusitis and ear infection. Perscribed an antibiotic and nasal spray. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff. Very personable and caring. I would recommend Well Now as a great alternative when your doctor is unavailable.
Check in without notice was quick and very easy. The services and guidance provided to me by Cassandra Swatsworth was spot on. The environment is very comforting as relaxing before and during the examination. Never do or have felt “rushed” when visiting. Will also come here for any issues or health questions that I may encounter.
Attending Physician Assistant was personable, knowledgeable, showing good judgment, and helpful. And actually in their respective roles, the same assessment would apply to all staff encountered. Web service was also remarkably easy to use and quick in response. Thank you!
