Don't remember the names of all the staff, but they were all very friendly. Wish I could remember their names, they helped me out a lot and they were very courteous. And thoughtful. My heart goes out to all the patients here.

Unfortunately after I tried to kill myself on the 17th of June I was sent to West Pines. This place felt like a prison not a mental health facility. We had to wear ankle monitors and the beds were so uncomfortable. I couldn't sit in any of the chairs they were very uncomfortable as well. I had torn the muscles underneath my left breast and my arm was out of place. I was given Lidocaine patches for this which I did appreciate even if they didn't help at all. West Pines is such a Great place for any mental health problems. Their team is great. They saved my life multiple times . Took me in a gave me many opportunities to get on track to a healthy life. Witch I have now . All the staff is polite kind and caring thank you West Pines . They truly want the best for everyone one . They do care any own who needs detox’s or in a mental health situation goo. They will take good care of you and send you in the right direction for long term treatment. Stay positive. Recovery takes time.

This place was beyond disorganized. Waited 6 hours just to get outta intake. Then when they did my body search they left the door wide open with male staff passing by. Finally I get down to the floor and the nurse asked me to help her out with paperwork while she did med pass. So I'm going through the pile of paper work. And I realize they are most definitely for staff answers only. Not to mentioned the nurses mixed up my paperwork with my roomates. What happened to West Pines??? This is like a institution more than a recovery facility! Ankle bracelets, locked rooms without a bathroom, no group meetings, a Tv room, its like captivity! No treatment facility! Its simply put shameful! If ur an alcoholic or addict and want to get sober…dont go here! You will become a prisoner and quite honestly feel like one!! So sad! The former West pines was awesome!!!! Interaction small groups. Open environment promoting sobriety! Shameful!
