West Pines truly helped me when I needed it the most. Yes, it’s a treatment hospital with rules, but the structure really worked for me and gave me the stability I needed. I actually enjoyed my stay and felt more supported here than at other facilities I’ve been to. Don't remember the names of all the staff, but they were all very friendly. Wish I could remember their names, they helped me out a lot and they were very courteous. And thoughtful. My heart goes out to all the patients here.

Case worker was extremely rude during check in. Had to strip in front of him for no apparent reason. Extremely restrictive and the “nurses”don’t consider the time that you normally take your meds instead having you get them all in the morning. Additional meds were added without my consent and staff are very dismissive. If you have a choice between west pines and somewhere else GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. There is no privacy here. West Pines is such a Great place for any mental health problems. Their team is great. They saved my life multiple times . Took me in a gave me many opportunities to get on track to a healthy life. Witch I have now . All the staff is polite kind and caring thank you West Pines . They truly want the best for everyone one . They do care any own who needs detox’s or in a mental health situation goo. They will take good care of you and send you in the right direction for long term treatment. Stay positive. Recovery takes time.

Unfortunately after I tried to kill myself on the 17th of June I was sent to West Pines. This place felt like a prison not a mental health facility. We had to wear ankle monitors and the beds were so uncomfortable. I couldn't sit in any of the chairs they were very uncomfortable as well. I had torn the muscles underneath my left breast and my arm was out of place. I was given Lidocaine patches for this which I did appreciate even if they didn't help at all.
