I have no complaints about the YMCA in Willow Grove PA. Average membership prices, call ahead for kids swim/ family swim hours and kids under 7 must be accompanied by an adult when in the pool. My advice is to eat before you go. They do have lounging areas, vending machines, lockers, etc. Spacious gym room, basketball court and go online to check out specific classes. Small outdoor playground area but plenty of parking. Great outdoor seating.I definitely recommend joining if you live in the area.
Great family atmosphere. Classes offered for all ages. My wife and I use the senior silver classes 3 days a week and we are enjoying our new workout routine. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Wish it was a little less expensive but we’ve realized our health is more important at this stage of our lives. Join you’ll love it. PS we haven’t used the pool yet but we are also looking forward to that. Jim B.
My grandkids and I had a game we play called “ Rate the playground “. Their playground is really nice and the kids loved it! It’s small but has amazing things to play on!
The stuff is rude specially this one skinny old woman upstairs she’s minding everyone’s business. & never let you work out peacefully. The swimming pool area so dirty people don’t take a shower, and go to the water, one time somebody did diarrhea in the walking pool I will not go there anymore to this place. Not recommended.
I normally go to the Northeast YMCA even though this one is bigger, newer and closer to my home. If you go to the gym to be alone and don't care about anyone else this is for you. It's just not as friendly and doesn't have the same atmosphere. The class sizes and rooms ... Well the whole place is beautiful. Just the vibe isn't there for me.
