About this business

We provide inpatient treatment for women in the heart of the Sonoran Desert. Our serene, private setting lends itself to introspection, and our trauma-based program provides the support, and direction necessary for each individual to do a deep dive into their issues. A low patient-to-staff ratio means each person gets individualized attention from our highly trained clinical staff allowing them to make dramatic progress.

I was very disappointed in the staff here. I came from the meadows in Texas and that program was so amazing. I came to willowhouse for extra help and just had a very Big T Trauma happen 13 days before entering willowhouse. I was told that at WH everyone's program is customized. I asked, since the first week I was there, if I could receive extra therapy since I just had a very big trauma happen right before coming. I was not given any accommodations until the end of my third week there. So my program was already halfway throu... read more

Unfortunately, in my experience (25 days), the Willows over promised but under -delivered with the services they claim to provide on the website. They do not have enough therapeutic staff to accommodate the number of patients, nor do they have back up staff to provide therapy when scheduled therapists call out (which happened multiple times a week). Further, the program needs to be age related and targeted for individualized care. IE: There is zero commonality with a patient 19 years of age and a 50+ patient. I attended the ... read more

i would not recommend this place to anyone. they dropped the ball multiple times on trauma therapy appointments, i was there 50 days and only saw a trauma therapist 4 times and was promised a minimum of 6. the bht’s are extremely under trained and don’t know how to handle many situations. the nursing staff are trained but didn’t take a lot of my concern’s seriously. i complained multiple times to the clinical director and nursing staff about my problems with not having enough therapy appointments and nothing was done. they a... read more

I am happy to be an alumni of Willow House. I went there in 2017 broken and unsure of who I was. The staff at Willow House saved my life and taught me how to find who i am. This was the best 45 day of my life. I have been sober for almost 5 1/2 years and still going. I love my Willow House family and cant wait to celebrate many more successes. Without the staff and program at Willow House I wouldn't be who I am today. I am a mother, wife and honest employee of a Cybersecurity firm in their accounting department.

I was treated as less than human. My mail was kept from me and then read by my therapist. I was denied medication for a back injury. The rules constantly change and only apply to some. The staff does not treat you with respect or dignity. My decisions were not respected and I was not valued
