I have been under Dr McElrath’s care for 30 years. In my opinion, he is the best surgeon for his specialty in this area. He is very thorough very honest and very professional. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I thank Dr Mcelrath for taking me as a patient 30 years ago up until today. I have nothing but good things to say about the office. Omg. I should have just walked out as soon as I entered the office. Outdated office. Heating towers in the waiting room to keep the area warm. Old fashioned radio with an antenna on an end table playing holiday music. Told to arrive 30 min early to fill out paperwork. It’ll take that long to fill out forms I was informed. Only took me 5 min. Had they had an electronic system I could have completed it in advance. My appointment was at 9:45 am. Sat in the waiting room for 45 min before I was called. Dr. McElrath is a wonderful surgeon! He explains everything and listens! I never felt rushed when asking him questions. He is so thorough and I knew that I was in great care from my initial consult through my surgery and recovery. We are so fortunate to have him in the capital district!
I received excellent care. Dr. McElrath was fantastic. The entire team was so supportive and professional. We are so fortunate to have this group in the capital district.
Nurses care was wonderful. Dr mcElrath's care and communication about my ovarian cancer was almost non existing. I have been very disappointed with lack of information about my cancer.
