I really wanted to like this place and was very excited for a celebratory dinner, but this fell flat at best 👎🏼 For starters, the pita was horrible ☹️. This is the easiest win for any restaurant and to have dry pita pretty much ruins any Mediterranean meal off the bat. We had a great team dinner at Yara in NYC with a group of 30. The food was delicious, and the appetizers were perfect for sharing. The staff was attentive and handled our large group well, making the evening smooth and enjoyable. It’s a great spot for group dinners, and we’d definitely come back. Norman - thank you for all the help coordinating the event!
Good but seems to attract those working in corporate, meaning steeper prices compared to other Mediterranean spots. Also found the photographer walking around with a huge flash camera a littleeeee bit annoying. I thought portions were okay, and we enjoyed everything! Atmosphere was nice. Overall not the best value IMO but still liked the food. The spicy hummus was properly spicy lol
OUTSTANDING!!! What a gem of a Lebanese restaurant in NYC. We went for Valentine's Day and didn't know what to expect. The restaurant has lovely ambiance and beyond hospitable and friendly staff. The food is Authentic Lebanese cuisine. There's no fusion or funny business. This is Lebanese dining as if you're sitting at an eatery in Beirut. The Kibbe naye (lamb tartar) is out of this world. Classy Lebanese style restaurant near Midtown, good for business lunches with the team. Friendly and quick service with a lot of variety on the menu to suit varied tastes.
