Good but seems to attract those working in corporate, meaning steeper prices compared to other Mediterranean spots. Also found the photographer walking around with a huge flash camera a littleeeee bit annoying. I thought portions were okay, and we enjoyed everything! Atmosphere was nice. Overall not the best value IMO but still liked the food. The spicy hummus was properly spicy lol

I loved the atmosphere at Yara. The server was excellent, and the other employees were friendly and helpful. However, the food portions were much smaller than expected, and the prices were extremely high, especially for students. The food was very disappointing, and as someone with prior experience in Mediterranean cuisine, I can tell this is not up to par. I hope the owner makes some improvements, focusing on the quality and portion sizes of the foods.

Yara is one of my favorite restaurants in the city and my absolute favorite Lebanese spot!! All the food is authentic, flavorful, fresh, well portioned, AND reasonably priced, which is hard to find in nyc. The atmosphere is cozy and chic and the service is outstanding. They also have live music every Wednesday which is such a lovely bonus.

Friendly and accommodating service but the food was mediocre especially their pita bread which got hard like crackers in a couple of minutes. Their spicy hummus was good as well as their halloumi and roasted cauliflower. The raw lamb tartar portion was big but underwhelming.

The atmosphere in here is really pleasant, it certainly looks the part. I did a Timeleft Dinner here and we had a good time. The food was fine. I've spent some time in Lebanon and I'm not sure I would call it particularly authentic in that context, and it wasn't objectively great either. I enjoyed it but it was nothing spectacular and perhaps I'd have expected more for the price. Our waiter really wasn't great. He seemed almost totally checked out and very visibly didn't want to be there. More than a bit off. I can't tell ... read more
