I've been a customer with YEC for close to 10 years and felt compelled to leave review. I could do it's the least I can do for such an amazing business who has been over backwards and treated me better than I deserve. The unit I rent also doubles as my businesses storage shop so I'm there almost every morning and then once at the end of the day. My daughter is a student at Ole Miss and used this facility to store furniture/belongings this past summer in between moves. Facility was safe and clean. The Manager, Chris, was more than helpful when we had a billing issue that was borderline in terms of the issue being our mistake. He fixed it for us...and sadly that just never happens anymore. I have more children and Oxford/ Ole Miss will be a home base for us for a long time. We will come see Chris again for sure.
This is an upstanding company, with excellent customer service. In fact, I don't think I've ever been treated with any more kindness, consideration and accommodation. It seemed they could not do enough to help me - even on the phone before I ever met anyone in person. I was helped by Chad at Grand Oaks location and by LaJune at the Wells Gate location. We used Your Extra Closet to store furniture, artwork and other home items while we were in between houses. our items were in a climate controlled storage unit for 5 months and within that time all of our belongings became covered in mold. we had paid extra for the insurance coverage on our unit and made a claim to help cover the cost to replace our items (most were family heirlooms and not replaceable).
