STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE RETREAT GAINESVILLE UPDATE- Retreat replied with an AI generated reply, so if you think they’re going to care about you they won’t, they don’t even bother to write their own replies. Where do I start, Internet is very bad, doesn’t work at the busiest time of the day. Taking a honorlock exam on the wifi is very questionable decision, always worry it will drop. If you value your mental health and money, don't live here. I signed a lease here for 2 years. A lot of the stuff built up over time. Here is a list of reasons you should stay away or break your lease ASAP if you just signed: (1) My AC was broken for about 16-17 days with little to no response from the maintenance team. I usually never leave a bad review but this is unacceptable. It is the worst experience I have had living in a student complex. Our house has been without ac for more than 10 days now!!! In summer. In Florida. There have been nights where the temperature inside was at 99 degrees because it blows hot air sometimes. Management does not care at all. Not worth it for the price. Maintenance team is incredibly slow and does not acknowledge requests despite submitting multiple. It has been at least two weeks of our AC having issues. Management is also spineless and avoids confrontation when issues arise, ultimately ignoring their residents’ concerns. While the apartments are spacious and might appear nice, the management team and lack of maintenance ruin the whole experience.
