This is my second year living at The Met, and I couldn’t be happier that I chose to live here. Whenever I need help, Becca is always so kind, helpful, and professional. As a parent, sending your child off to college comes with its fair share of anxiety, especially when it comes to housing. When my son told us he’d be living at The Metropolitan in State College, I did my research (probably too much, if you ask him). I’ve had such a great experiences with the Metropolitan! From the beautiful, modern amenities to the well-maintained common areas and apartments, everything feels thoughtfully designed and welcoming. The Met is a great place to live. My sister lives there and after seeing her apartment and the location you can't get any better. She lived there her junior year and is also living there again her senior year. The rooms are fully furnished and each apartment has it's own washer/dryer. It's got great amenities: a pool, a gym, a study area and its location is close to places to eat, to shop, and to get to classes. It allows pets. The staff is friendly and helpful. 5 stars if you ask me.

Great location for classes in west. Nice amenities and common spaces. The printer in the study room is especially useful. The apartments are furnished nicely and each room comes in overall pretty good shape. The one thing that became bothersome was the drains would occasionally clog, the carpets seemed unclean, and the washing machines in some apartments are very small. Overall, a nice place to live coming from someone who renewed their lease.
