My older sister is currently in Yuma Rehabilitation Hospital. She just got transferred there from the hospital. She really enjoys the nurses and the care she is getting. However, some of the patients are cursing at the nurses and it seems like a crazy house because the patients are mean. She said the lady in her is super mean. My sister has anxiety and the roommate is causing her to be uncomfortable. It would be nice if my sister was moved to a room with a nice roommate. Thank you for moving her to a better room! After my Dad's catastrophic stroke he was released from Banner Hospital in Phoenix to Yuma Rehabilitation hospital. The staff here was amazing and patient with my dad's inability to speak. 3 hours or more of physical, speech and occupational therapy each day had my father walking with assistance of a walker, talking enough to tell funny stories and make his need known (not 100 percent or even 50 percent but definitely an improvement). In only 3 weeks, he and I were comfortable in his ability to come home. They sho... read more
