My husband and I absolutely loved staying at Zane Gray RV park. The sites were well manicured and level. When we walked in to finish our registration, they acted like we were long lost friends and were so welcoming. Everyone said hi to everyone. Once a week there is line dancing. There are blue grass bands who come and play. And for the Super Bowl, they set up a huge screen and had a potluck. I highly recommend this place. Apparently, the owner loves lights. I have to say, this campground was one of those rare finds! Not only do they have an amazing staff, but they really think of all the details on this site. The kids, the pets and the adults have something for them here. During the day you will see the staff manicuring the area, making sure the facilities are tidy. Stayed at Zane Grey for 30 days and absolutely loved it! The park is very well maintained, and has really generous sized sites. There are mature trees throughout the park, with hiking trails and Clear Creek in the woods surrounding the park. Some of the amenities are a pavilion with a big fire ring outside and lots of seating, immaculate bathrooms with showers, a dog park, playground, library, and a Rec room with a pool table, shuffle board, darts and a juke box. Whenever we need a quick getaway our favorite place to stay is Zane Grey. We love how clean the place is especially the bathrooms. Staff is friendly and willing to help. Best part for me are the lights at night, it’s like Christmas time again. Keep up the good work Zane Grey we’ll be back!
The week of Feb 25th we stayed here with our travel trailer for the first time. It is true what everyone says...very nice place, very well kept up and very nice people working here. We were back further in the park by the grass. We enjoyed all the night time lights on the trees. We also enjoyed being able to walk by West Clear Creek and the back part of the property has a section just in the trees which is a good spot to walk a dog.
