This park is awesome! Even though it’s next to a state highway, it is pretty quiet. The walking trails along West Clear Creek are my absolute favorite. I’ve seen Javelina, deer, coyotes, and even a coatamundi. People enjoy fishing and swimming but I just like the shade trees. The sites are spacious and level. There is privacy bushes between most sites. On the weekends, there are live bands and occasionally a food truck. For holidays, they provide the food and a lot of people will bring a dish. We stayed here several times and always have had a great experience. Amenities are very nice and staff is friendly and helpful. We loved the s’mores provided at the campfire one evening. Saturday mornings donuts are provided and we got a chance to meet other RV’ers from all over the country. Location is great for a day trip to Sedona , Payson, Jerome or Cottonwood Would definitely recommend this RV park!
We rented one of their cabins for 2 weeks in February of 2026. The cabins are very well appointed and very comfortable. I'm sitting on the back deck of the cabin as I write this review. The back deck is a very nice place to sit and enjoy the afternoon. The RV park is 7 miles outside of Camp Verde. The RV park is extremely well taken care of and the people here are very friendly. This place is truly a hidden gem. It's absolutely beautiful surrounded by trees, so many trails, and near a river you can swim in. The dog park is by far the best my dogs have ever seen and the sites are SO SPACIOUS. Not to mention their CLEAN bathrooms that even play music. The hospitality was awesome. I felt so welcomed IMMEDIATELY. The whole park is just perfect and I'm so blessed to have been able to stay there twice.
The experience was awesome. The amenities were amazing! This is our new go-to RV place. The only issue was the closeness of the neighbor's RV. They didn't pay much attention to their dump etiquette. While it wasn't the park's responsibility, it might be nice to hand out a big notice to arriving RVrs to watch their stink.
