My family loves the Zane Grey RV Campgrounds in Camp Verde, AZ. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here many times and they are always doing things to engage their guest. On the weekends, one day, they offer free coffee and donuts. Over New Years holiday, they invited everyone to a BBQ/pot luck and had an amazing band. We absolutely love this park. I was a little concerned at first about being so close to the roadway and expected more noise, but the other reviews were right — it’s incredibly quiet. Even in the winter, the park feels magical. The atmosphere and neighbors are friendly throughout, and the bathrooms are the cleanest I’ve ever seen in any Arizona RV park. I've been driving past Zane Grey RV Village for many years. recently I learned it was under new ownership and has been greatly improved. Friends of ours stayed there in Oct 2025 and they were pleasantly surprised to find how wonderful it was since the new ownership took over. We stayed there over New years and had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. They had a great band on new Years Eve and even provided a BBQ. What an amazing campsite. We've been to several and this by far had everything we needed plus. The place was clean and restroom were immaculate. Lots of things to do for both adults and kids. Free wood for the community fire pit for free. They even left the things necessary for s'mores. On Saturday we were treated to coffee, hot chocolate and free donuts. Would definitely go again!!
