Continues to brake I can believe how quickly these hoses brake down. When I repaired my Polaris with these hoses they broke down with 30 days. Sometimes faster. I do not recommend. So tried of poor quality products.
Reason to switch to cordless - it should not be on market In a matter of couple of years I replaced 40” of 6 feet extensions… I would live to see test report on environmental testing for this hose material . GOOD IDEA ( floating ) terrible performance ..I would like to see their results on chlorine , UV , temperature interaction… definitely could buy cordless for the price of 6-feet infinite extension
6 weeks and done Had it for about 6 weeks now and already has sprouted 2 leaks that shoots water out of the pool. Maybe just a bad one but obviously not buying again. Only 30 day warranty.
develops micro holes quickly While this is a new feed hose, it developed micro holes within the first two weeks. Not bad enough to replace. However, for the price you pay for a piece of plastic tubing, you would think it would last longer. The original feed hose lasted several years before developing holes. They must have changed the manufacturer or the manufacturing process.
Deteriorated after 3 months Bought this Polaris hose in hopes that it would last as the long as the original hose that came with the cleaner. Sadly it lasted even less time than the generic hoses. I bought three sections and every one of them now have splits.
Replacement sweep hose did not work as well as originals. Hose did not last as long as original sweep hoses, it broke and had to be replaced in a few weeks.
Doesn't last, expensive I've had a 360 Polaris for many years. Until recently quality if replacement parts for hose ass'y has been acceptable.The last few years quality has gone down on all the parts. I fix a leak/hose rip weekly. Try to get hose seperated fron coupling and it starts to unravel.For 6' of corrugated plastic (!) I at least expect it to last a summer.FYI pool inground, salt system, stored when not in use.For comparable price of a new 360 a electric/battery cleaner can be an alternative.
Bought cheaper product that didnt last But these dont either. 1 year max.
Beware I bought this hose last November 2022. Immediately installed when I received it and the hose was leaking in several places so I requested a replacement. This supplier sent another without me having to return it. After I received the replacement I put this small section of hose together again. It was leaking worse than the first one. I said no more to this supplier. I am not sure what is going on within this company but as you can see. First time shame on them. Second time shame on me. It might be cheaper. Enough said.
