Perfect Already owned one, but needed a new one.
Cyclonic action and clear plastic The cyclonic action (think Dyson vacuum cleaner) makes this an effective leaf catcher. Add to that the clear plastic housing which makes it easy to see when it needs to be emptied. It also is quicker to clean. All necessary fittings are included to make it sit properly vertical in the water.
Must have for leaves! This is a must have for your auto pool cleaner! It catches all the leaves and keeps them out of your filter. Easy to install and use. Also comes apart easy to clean. Highly recommend you get one! Stay away from the cheap imitation ones, a friend thought he'd safe some $ and ended up with junk that didn't work.

Filtered as designed Once I got it to work it worked great. It said it worked with normal pool hoses. It does if you have an in ground pool. Unfortunately I have an above ground pool. Adapters with the filter had to be adapted to my hoses. Even then I had to use duct tape. The seal between the top and bottom is not tight. The instructions say to keep it up right in the pool. This keeps the joint below the water preventing an air leak.
Works well. Used with Mx8 Pool Cleaner. Works well but canister should be a little larger.
