Ok but you need to add stones to stop the sucking I found that the leaf canister is not weighted right. It bobs at the top of the water and sucks air. To correct this problem I put small stones in the container to keep it below the water. Now it works fine.

Works great for collecting leaves and pebbles. This thing works great. My dog has a habit of flinging pebbles into my pool. This catches those, so that they don't go through the plumbing. I don't worry about them getting stuck anymore. I don't have issues with the canister staying up right. My hose connections are pretty tight so that's probably why I have no issues.
