Necessity Works exactly as listed. I do like to feature of cleaning it out before it hits the pump.
Perfect for our pool, which is near a lot of palms, trees, and shrubs. Super easy to install, doesn't reduce suction at all (if you clean it out once or twice a week). This thing pretty much eliminated my having to use the clean out at my pump. Out robot didn't have a filter in the unit, or before the pump clean out, so this is a life and time saver. Works very well This is actually a replacement for the same item we purchased at least 10 years ago. The Arizona sun caused some damage, but the unit still worked. I am older, and don't want to vacuum the pool all the time - this totally helps. I sometimes need to intervene after heavy storms.

Love it Absolutely love this product. My only complaint is I wish it was bigger. This has been a time saver for me. Very easy to assemble and empty.
Easy to install I like everything about it and I use it to trap leaves in the canister instead of going to the pump.
