If having issues add pool/spa lube EDIT: we added some pool & spa lube to the O ring & so far it has worked. Changed review to 3 stars because of all the difficulty we had initially. We have not been able to get it to float vertically in the pool. It rolls on its side so the only thing it sucks is air. Huge waste of money!!!!!

Works great This is a replacement for the original that I purchased over 6 years ago. My previous canister was in the pool 24/7/365 because there is no screen on the pool.
Works great Works great, just s advertised, be sure to check and clean at least once per day. Easy to clean, although you will likely get your arms wet to your elbows because you have to reach into the pool.
