To ensure the cleaner remains perpendicular to the water surface, submerge the Cyclonic Leaf Catcher completely underwater until no air bubbles are released. I've been dealing with the Intex proprietary sizes for years and this worked like a charm. Use a hose connector if needed, which is very inexpensive and nice to have on hand anyway for an Intex pool. Very efficient Does a great job
Works great! My pool does not have a dedicated pool ... Works great! My pool does not have a dedicated pool vac line, so the pool vac is connected where the skimmer basket is supposed to be. With this set up, all the leaves ended up in the pump filter and it's a pain to empty that out. I bought this leaf canister to trap the leaves before they enter the pool system and it works perfectly! I hooked it up to the pool vac hose with the provided inserts and all the leaves get trapped. I would recommend this to all my friends.
