Works great! My pool does not have a dedicated pool ... Works great! My pool does not have a dedicated pool vac line, so the pool vac is connected where the skimmer basket is supposed to be. With this set up, all the leaves ended up in the pump filter and it's a pain to empty that out. I bought this leaf canister to trap the leaves before they enter the pool system and it works perfectly! I hooked it up to the pool vac hose with the provided inserts and all the leaves get trapped. I would recommend this to all my friends.

Good Add On for Pool Cleaning & Maintenance We have many trees in our yard and it's a year round struggle to keep them out of our pool. Having the Zodiac Cyclonic Leaf Canister is another tool to keep on top of the leaf problem. No matter how often we use a net to skim leaves off the top, some always sink to the bottom and then get pulled into our automatic pool cleaner. This canister catches them before they can go through the rest of the system onto the pump and filter.

Excellent product! I believe that it is indispensable it ... Excellent product! I believe that it is indispensable it retains all dirty, leaves, insects etc. avoiding that all that things go to the pump filter. It is ease to clean, great product, made my life much easier!
This works pretty good. I connect it directly to the intake ... This works pretty good. I connect it directly to the intake and use a manual vacuum. It stays put and works like it should. The only problem I have is, it doesn't filtrr out fine particles or algae. I've overcome this by putting the inner filter basket in a pantyhose leg, multiple times. This hasn't caused any extra demand on the pump.

I previously owned the Hayward large leaf canister (2 yrs) - had replaced the O-ring several times and the inside net several times ... was looking to buy another due to a crack but found this instead and thought I'd give it a try. Much happier with this version so far. Love this item There are a lot of trees around my pool and fighting the leaves has become too much. This item worked like a charm and saved our pool time.
