It works but could hold more, mine is mounted ... It works but could hold more, mine is mounted in a side wall fixture for attaching the vacuum hose so it sits by the wall 18 inches below the waterand doesn't experience air leaks that would occur if left to float on the water.
Great add on for surface cleaner Very easy to install, and while it's design does make it easy to clean, personally I would like holes to be smaller to avoid some debris getting sent through to the pump or get stuck which can be fiddly and painstaking to remove.

Great cyclonic bin This is a clear winner over old style canister which aging plastic parts make them harder to open and clean out. I can now see the debris getting cycles and extremely easy to open and clean. The included connectors/adapters are more than enough for standard pool hose!
