Love this item There are a lot of trees around my pool and fighting the leaves has become too much. This item worked like a charm and saved our pool time.
but was pretty sun beat I had an older version, that still worked, but was pretty sun beat. This works good and was bigger than the previous one.

It works but could hold more, mine is mounted ... It works but could hold more, mine is mounted in a side wall fixture for attaching the vacuum hose so it sits by the wall 18 inches below the waterand doesn't experience air leaks that would occur if left to float on the water.
Great add on for surface cleaner Very easy to install, and while it's design does make it easy to clean, personally I would like holes to be smaller to avoid some debris getting sent through to the pump or get stuck which can be fiddly and painstaking to remove.
