Does what it's supposed to do It's impossible for this thing to stay upright as it states in the directions. Mine sits pretty much parallel with the water surface but works just fine. The only thing I was bothered by was having to constantly empty the debris because the cleaner stopped running. But that's my fault for letting my pool get so dirty. The canister itself is solid and seems to be of good quality. Not bad for $50.

is easy to install and clean after use I have a small (5600 sq ft) pool with only one skimmer, so I need to pull the basket and insert a suction line fitting to use my Zodiac Baracuda robot cleaner. The cyclonic leaf canister solves the problem of manually netting leaves as it catches debris and protects my pump. This unit plugs inline to the suction hose, is easy to install and clean after use, works like a charm. Fixed my problems and keeps the robot and pump system online, does the work for me. I'm a fan.
Best design, but rubber disintegrated. So I love this thing still, but it has one big issue. First, the design is perfect. From the auto-draining rubber check valve, to the plastics screen and swirling action, to the quick disconnect ports, it was well thought out. Way better and easier to use than my old net-in-a-bottle style. I have had it for two seasons now and after the first season the rubber drain check valve (which is a rubber disk at the bottom covering holes) disintegrated. It doesn’t really work without it, you lo... read more
