Works great. Only been an hour So installed it and its working with my side suction pool vac. Had to use a different hose which I already had since the fittings I was sent first loosely and I had to use duct tape. Had to increase pool pump since I'm using two items at once

Works great as long as you empty it every hour It works great until the leaves hit a tipping point and stick to all of the holes and stop all water flow, and my MX8 stops moving. So when there's been some wind or a storm and there are more than a few leaves on the bottom I have to plan on being around to empty this thing once per hour or so. It's better than having to clean the bottom myself but I wish I could just leave it running at night and know it wouldn't stop the waterflow.

This leaf catcher is by far the best investment I have made around my pool in a ... I had purchased and was using the Baracuda MX8 for quite some time and found having to empty the pump strainer quite a chore, not mentioning the strain it was causing on the pump motor. This leaf catcher is by far the best investment I have made around my pool in a long time. This leaf /debris canister is great. I use it with our Zodiac mx6 vacuum ... This leaf /debris canister is great. I use it with our Zodiac mx6 vacuum and it catches all the leaves; keeping them out of our filters & filter lines reducing the need to clean those.
