Three Stars Works ok however it needs a better seal as it sucks air into the line
Better than the standard leaf catcher but not without issues The cyclonic action seems to keep a lot more material out of my pool filter than the standard Hayward leaf catcher basket I've used for years. Just a few gripes about the setup. The adapters work OK but tend to come loose when you're trying to connect/disconnect the regular pool vac hose (non locking type). Works, but chops up leaves. I like how this is detached from the robot cleaner and you can service this without pulling the whole cleaner out of the water. However the cyclonic action may or may not be a good thing. It breaks dried leaves into small enough bits to pass through to the pump filter (and likely the pump). This can create a mess with your filter.

Well worth it for the time it saves you! This is amazing!!! It catches so much - right at the end of the hose line for the "pool shark" that's cleaning the bottom. Now I don't have to take apart the pool filter to clean debris out of it - just open this little guy up, clean it quick, and reattach. VERY worth it. If you have a lot of debris, you might have to clean this every hour or so at first, but once your pool is clean, then I imagine you could end up cleaning this very rarely, just depending on what's ending up in your ... read more

Great design, works perfectly to remove leaf and other ... Great design, works perfectly to remove leaf and other small debris. Cleans easily, which is a good thing as the small canister will fill quickly! Designed to use the "snap lock" fittings employed by Zodiac. Connectors are provided but adapting to a standard hose was not possible for me (perhaps some of the connectors were missing) without the use of a section of Zodiac hose which I luckily had on hand.
