Life just got easier!
"Barry" got right to work. I have an oval shaped pool with cutouts on corner for steps. He has no problem cleaning the steps and sides perfectly and makes his rounds quickly. I was concerned when I read a review that he might get stuck around the raised drain in the bottom....Not a problem. It is still new but, so far, I love this product. Will post if anything changes.
The equipment arrived on time and is a wonderful tool to clean our pool, easy to use and lov eit!!!
Had my pool for 9'years and saw no reason to get a automatic pool cleaner. The price was always a negative. That was until I tried this little machine. Takes no more time to hook up than did traditional vacuum and cleans while you do something else.. Come back hours later and your pool is clean, really works great.
If you can get over its 'random' movement as I am pretty anal, you will be pleased.. Great product and better price
I had the Baracuda G4 for 5 years I thought it was good... this Baracuda G3 is so much better... It cleans the entire pool under the water fall around the steps on the steps and it never gets hung up like the G4 did all the time. The wheel on the G# prevents that from happening. I like it so much I thought about buying a second one for back-up 5 years from now. The price was cheap for a new pool cleaner, it was cheaper to buy new than to buy parts. THX

It is the best automatic pool cleaner that I have found and I have tried several. Setup is very easy.
Works, but not great
First, I purchased this cleaner to replace an old Hayward cleaner, so maybe I'm used to a little bit more. I got this cleaner because I hoped that this lower priced cleaner would be as good. Overall, it is not.
In general, this cleaner does a good job of picking up debris on the bottom of the pool. It also came with a good set of pool hose segments and a number of good connectors. The cleaner was quick to set up and initially get working.

I have been using a Baracuda G3 for 12 years now. It was time to review others on the market and choose the best .After careful review of many products I bought another Baracuda G3. It arrived in just a few days and was easy to set up and drop in the pool.
I am extremely impressed at how much better this one cleans and climbs the walls of the pool. Looking forward to another 12 years of good service from this one.
