I was starting to like the MX8 and after learning all of the in and outs of the MX8 I have gotten the pools on my route with them looking great. Not worth the time or money. Have had nothing but problems with this. The tread comes off the tires constantly. It gets stuck on the stairs and pool steps. Spend more time trying to get it to do it's job than it runs. Extremely disappointed.
Beware of this vacuum's propensity to get stuck This pool vacuum continually became stuck on the two sets of steps in my pool. I called Zodiac customer support and performed all of the recommended adjustments...there was no change in the way the pool vacuum worked. I had to free the vacuum 4 to six times a day. I did not buy this vacuum to constantly free the vacuum from getting stuck.
Works sometimes but even tho pin hole in hose it tucked air into my pump Received defected hose and supplier would not replace terrible customer service be aware
Do not buy Do not buy. I purchased this and it barely moved even with my pump solely dedicated to it. I took it to pinch a penny and spent $45 getting a "damaged part" replaced. It worked for one pump cycle and seized up again the next day.It is now literally garbage. Anyone thinking about buying one can have mine for free!
Not working 👎🏻 This product is not moving around like it should be. The last one we purchased lasted a few years. This purchase is disappointing and now out the $$$. Cleaning ability is awful.
Keep looking Poor quality. Replaced the tracks for the wheels 2 times. So plan on buying replacements every 3-6 months. Vacuum broke after using it for about 13 months. Continues to do your research. Pool guy said these work for about 12 months and that’s it.

Vacuuming It works only works for a pool with dirt only , if you have lots tree dropping will clogged the gears and you have to disassemble the gear box and clean it all the time .
