I was starting to like the MX8 and after learning all of the in and outs of the MX8 I have gotten the pools on my route with them looking great. Does not work. Looks nice but mssing critical part to make it work and neither the company nor Amazon will stand behind it! Nor will they accept returns without 25% to 50% restock fee. Company does not understand its own product--they sent a "part" but not at all what is needed. Biggest waste of money ever. DO NOT BUY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
Way Too Much Maintenance, Not Enough Cleaning I have had this vacuum less than a year and it has been nothing but taking it apart, switching out parts, and now it won’t move. It has honestly been out of the pool to be worked on more than in the pool cleaning.
Make sure you use it and monitor its use before it goes over the warranty or refund span of time Rubber piece on the robot keeps popping out everytime it’s used
Zodiac review. Worked well for a couple of weeks. Seems the tire. Traction has worn out and has trouble. Moving around now.

Don’t buy it. Can I give it zero stars it worked great for 2 weeks and then quit and there’s no product support.
Planned Obsolescence It will work for two years. Then every part will need to be replaced one at a time every month. I have two, one is for parts now to fix the other. The other is failing rapidly. It also has never climbed stairs. That’s just false advertising. It’s not super expensive and it works well for those two years but it seems to be built to fail after warranty. I think I’m done with Zodiac.
