I tried to use the vacuum 3 different times before returning it. The first time it took a few minutes to start up, did a few completely random zig zags in the shallow end of my pool and then just stopped after a few minutes. 1.0 out of 5 stars Hose literally crumbles This is a very substandard product. Poorly made. The hose pipes are breaking apart after a year of use, one after the other. They are very poor quality. The vacuum unit moves well , but gets stuck near steps in the pool and stays there. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone.

Cleaner constantly doing wheelies (not cleaning pool floor) we adjusted hose float, and suction valve, and counted wheel rotation per instructions. 1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY - HOSES ARE DEFECTIVE! In only 21 months the hoses have begun to disintegrate. When we weren't looking and one unraveled at night and our pump was sucking air which could have damaged it. When I contacted Zodiac to address it, they said the hoses are wear and tear and they will not be replaced. They further, said they can be affected by temperature changes and sunlight in the pool and it's best to remove the cleaner after use. WHAT??? 1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage. Literally will cost you! This vacuum is SO bad! It gets stuck on its side when it attempts to climb a side. If you don’t go turn it back flat it will stay in one spot on its side doing nothing. If you also get the canister it will only hold about 6-9 leaves or pieces of yard debris before it stops sucking. Overall there is no value for this vacuum. It’s extremely frustrating to connect and keep working as it just turns and gets stuck. The customer service past 30 days is awful to deal with. Besides the houses falling apart, the damn thing won't stay upright no matter how much I tweak with it.. from the stupid weight to adjusting suction. It's never good enough. What a waste. Never had that problem with poolvac.. and I hated my poolvac... I live how they say make sure the weight is 9" up on the hose.. I even tried extra weights. Still nothing.. it's just crap..
1.0 out of 5 stars Bad Product--Do Not waste money This machine is poorly made.It opeated for approx. 6 months.The main problem is that it will fall back on side(backwards) and there is no solution.I worked with the 'customer service' group who was absolutely no help.They sent me miscellaneous parts that were no help.Not sure what is worse, the product or the customer service support.Do NOT buy this product.
1.0 out of 5 stars Hose is junk The unit its self is good however the hoses that come with it are junk. You can see from my picture they are all broken and I’ve tried to duck tape them in various areas but it’s just too far gone. I just picked it up out of the pool and the whole hose uncoiled. I bought an adapter to use with my standard pool hose that I’ve have for 15+ years. Quality is terrible. If you can just buy the Mx6 unit by its self I recommend that but the hoses are garbage.
