Definitely great quality and tough product. We live in the dry desert so we get tons of dust, dirt and palm debris in the pool and this baby kicks its butt!

There are a few shallow shelves in my pool that it won't do because it would be half exposed out of the water and introduce air into the system, but I expected that.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice, but jams a little too often Overall, I do prefer this to the old Hayward vac it replaced. It does a much better job of climbing the walls and seems to move more evenly around the pool rather than circling one area. On the down side, it does tend to jam too easily on larger leaves. I've probably had to pull it out and clear leaves from the gears 7-8 times just this summer whereas I don't remember clearing the Hayward more than 2-3 times over the last several years.
