Cleaned the pool like a champ Very compact and goes up and down the sides easily.. the only thing is the hose that needs extra attachments for the locking but I love the leaf catcher!(extra part) and the instructions were difficult so we used a YouTube video
I've only had this 2 days So far so good. Much better than the three Navigators that I have had over the years. Only had this three days so hoping the performance lasts a long time.
Gets stuck on main drain and stairs The media could not be loaded. My MX6 works great with the exception that it constantly gets stuck on either the main drain or the side of the stairs. It climbs well and does an amazing job cleaning if only it wouldn’t get stuck!

Not durable. This worked ok for 2 seasons. The hose is very flimsy and expensive sections constantly need replacing. The tracks wear out quickly as well. This seems like a cheaper option vs an electric robot but the cost of ownership makes the electric the best option over time.
Glue hoses together with PVC glue The various hose sections were sucking in air limiting suction. They appear to have poor connections. I used PVC glue, the kind you use to connect PVC pipes, together to ensure they were airtight. Now working fine.
Luvs To Climb The media could not be loaded. Best of the bunch. My first pool cleaner being the creepy Crawley, which aesthetically was my favorite. It looked very organic, almost alive, and if it was alive or dead by now for me, choking it for ugetting stuck constantly. Next was the Hayward the never ending Parts monster did an OK job if you could keep up with the repairs not like this unit has very few moving parts which means less things to go wrong. So far so good My last pool cleaner broke and since then the bottom of my pool has gotten filthy dirty. The zodiac got delivered yesterday and has done a phenomenal job cleaning the pool. My only complaint would be that it’s not great cleaning the corners near the bottom of my steps but overall this is an excellent cleaner.
Cleans well, easy to replace parts This vacuum works great! I've had it for 5 years and it is still going strong. I will say that it is a machine with many moving parts, so replacing worn out parts goes with ownership. This vacuum runs 8 hrs per day, 365 days per year. Parts for this are easy to find, and it's easy to find instructions on how to replace parts. I've had to replace the hoses once in that time.
