Suction houses is Weak Link Really like the MX-6 pool vac. Does a great job and climbs the walls for a total clean. HOWEVER... the suction hose is flimsy. After one year it began falling apart unraveling (see pic). It did this at the ends and in the middle. From beginning it had tangled up and company told me nothing they could do about it. So I retrieved my old suction hose from my defunct Polaris unit and cobbled together connector ends from the Zodiac hose so I could use the much heavier Polaris hose. WORKS GREAT! Love it Replaced my old Kreepy Krawler..works like a charm, took about 2 minutes to "dial" it in to my system. Had the pool perfect within 1 day of the spring pool opening..
Great cleaner but poor hoses. I really like this pool cleaner. What I don’t like are the hoses. They seem to be very poor quality and break easily. I keep them out of the Sun but they still split. The replacement hoses are quite expensive.
Great little unit Really does a decent job. Miles ahead of my Hayward vacuum.
This cleaner uses the old Inkjet business model I've uses the MX6 for over two years and in general, I've been happier with it than the original cleaner. We unfortunately have a nearby pine tree and pine needles regularly jam up the mechanism and stop the cleaner; we just clean it everyday and that solves the problem. Great product. Bought this to replace an old pool sweep we have had for 29 years. This came with new hoses and is very easy to assemble. The machine has very few parts in it and looks like it will be easy maintenance. there is an easy-to-open hatch to remove larger obstructions if needed. My pool was dirty as we didn't have a machine sweeping for about a week. After starting this new one up I checked on it and the bottom of the pool was clean after 30 minutes. Great product and I would recommend it. It arrived fast as well.
Hose Segments are Poor Quality The Zodiac unit is excellent .............the best pool vacuum that I have ever purchased. The hoses come in 39" segments. After 1 year of sporadic use, 6 of the segments have split.
Just AMAZING I have tried soooo many different one's ( cheap and expensive)and returned them all till this one has arrived ( reasonable priced).... It's amazing!!! It goes up the walls and easy to clean when sticks... rocks get inside of it.... I LUV this one!!!! & yes I BOUGHT IT!!!
Affordable, works great For the price this vacuum works as advertised. I did have to buy 2 extra hose pieces to cover our above ground 18×33 pool. Makes keeping up the pool a lot easier.
