The rubber band expand and there is no way to adjust them I like the product. I have been using another trademark before. I like it. but the rubber band traction expands in a few weeks and there is no way to adjust them. So I have to purchase them every time they are looses. Also some times the machine stays in one spot for a long time working but not moving easily. Little but important things.
It moves every direction like a tank. Great pool vacuum. I like the easy assembly and working pattern.
Keep your old hose The hose that came with this lasted exactly 4 months. It cracked in several different places. Worst part is that you can’t just buy any other hose without purchasing a bunch of different adapters to bypass zodiac’s twist lock adapters. Suction machine works good though. But you have to add the extra $100 in new hoses and adapters that you will ultimately purchase.
Does a great job…… after! We have a two stage pool pump. When it first turns on this thing charges around the pool bottom. When the second stage turns on the Zodiac turned into a helicopter and hovered about 2 ft off the bottom. Made some adjustments to manifold and perfect!
Best little vac For the money this is the best little vac. It’s half the price of most big name vacs but it cleans as good if not better than most $500-$700 vacs I have owned.
Get's the job done The MX6 is the smaller brother to the MX8. My MX8 finally started showing signs of wear so I decided to switch to the MX6 which is less costly. Since I have a small pool, it was ideal and performed just as well and saved me money. The only drawback is that it will stop working if debris gets caught in the rotor and it has to be pulled out and unjammed manually.

doesn't suck enough . We got the cleaner together and adjusted the speed of the track wheels. It didn't seem to stay on the bottom to clean the floor. Left it on all night and it did a decent job, but I don't want to have to leave my pool running so it can clean my pool. I would avoid this cleaner unless you don't mind running your pool 24/7
