Okay if you're on a budget Bought this as I could not afford the $1000 pool cleaners. I installed the scrubbing feet for the MX-8 as it just uses suction and does not scrub the floor. In hindsight, I should have saved up for the $1000 cleaner. It's okay but it really does not do a very good job of picking up debris from the floor. It does not climb the walls, just about a few inches. What really drives me crazy is if the hose is twisted, it tilts and is not suctioning the floor. Worth the price! Need to by leaf catcher if not the system gets clogged quickly.
great value works better and cost less than my hayward
Hoses fail on around a year. Expensive to replace. The vac itself is excellent for the price, but when the hose sections fall apart, and they will fall apart, they are way too expensive to replace.
great wall climber but offset by not taking care of palm tree droppings. the fibers lock up the unit till manually cleaned out
Buy this one Need to adjust your valve to get water pressure right. Works great!

Does a great job vacuuming the entire pool! At first the product looks small compared to previous Hayward vacuum that I used. But once it's running I was very impressed by the through pattern that it produce, completely cover the entire pool, and even goes up and clean the steps. It never gets stuck in one place, and the hose doesn't get tangled up. I'm very happy with the purchase.
good value Does a good job. the only downside is that it tends to get "stuck" when the hose is fully extended. Perhaps could use another length of hose
