Product did not work as advertised and increased in price. We have an above ground circular pool. We use this product to clean up the dirt and bugs at the bottom of our pool. Product was very disappointing. It did not work As advertised. Machine would start and then within several minutes stop working. We had to maneuver it around the pool. After a weekend of hand guiding the machine around the pool we said enough and returned the product.
Been using this model for years, but the quality of this model has dropped. Some parts on this Zodiac are made small with less material and cheaper materials.
Do Not Buy!! Peoduct did not work as expected. Only suctioned 1/4 of my 24 ft round pool. Definately do not spend your money by purchasing this!
Sucked a hole in our liner. Product worked however it stuck into one spot at the end of our pool. My husband had it going in the evening and turned it off not realizing It had sucked a piece of liner the size of a fist from the bottom of our new pool. 19,000 gallons of water poured out the back of the pool overnight. In the morning we had 4 inches of water in a 18x33 pool. Had to patch and resand what sand and earth washed away. It was a mess.
Worthless purchase Tried and tried and would not work. Formerly had similar vacuum Manta that worked well. Extremely disappointed with this purchase.
Buyer Beware! Sucks holes in your liner. Worked great in the beginning. About 2 weeks later, came home and water level in the pool had dropped 4". Found that cleaner had sucked a hole in my liner. Thought it was a one time fluke. NOPE! 2 days later, same thing. Thought it was something with my pool. Let my brother use it and same thing. Sucked a hole in the bottom of his pool. Manufacture told me that it is not possible. BS! Threw thing in trash. DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE A VINYL LINER POOL.
Would not recommend Kept getting stuck and would clean same spot over and over
Not impressed, doesn't cover whole pool First off, description says it comes preassembled, which is not the case. There are a few assembly steps, but the instructions are awful! Second, once I got it hooked up an running, the areas that it went to were very clean; however, it seemed to go over the same areas over and over again, leaving the center and other areas on the edges. Started Great then Disappointing Easy to put together. Worked well for the first week, but then the suction power declined greatly. Now I keep finding it on its side, rather than traveling along the bottom of the pool, and have to correct it. Very frustrating.
