Not for above ground pools I read several reviews before purchasing for our above ground pool. Unfortunately It looses suction easily and does not move around/clean most of the pool. We have to manually adjust it to get it to a new location every few minutes. It was easy to assemble and if it worked on our pool I think it would be a good value for the price.
Works great IF... We are on our third Turbo Turtle in 18 years. The first 2 worked great, they just wore out and needed to be replaced. Something has changed because we have bought 2 more and returned them both because they just go around in circles. Don't get me wrong ... that circle is pristine! But we need the entire pool cleaned. I saw on a review for another product that someone put pool noodles on the hose and it stopped it from going in circles. Eureka!!! NOT HEAVY Other robotic cleaners I’ve used were slow and methodical and heavy to put in over the top of my above ground pool and even heavier to take out when they were water logged. This is all lightweight material but a heavyweight in the pool. So easy to assemble and it flys around the pool floor without leaving wheel marks or slamming into the pool walls. One hour of use and my 24 foot round is spotless. Second season using this.
Work is normal pool, not just above ground. If your pool is Kreepy Krawly friendly this will work in your gunite pool. I have had my pool for 16 years and like this style because there is only one moving part. You need to make sure your pool will play nice with this type of cleaner. For some it will get stuck on steps etc. Pool guy told me they use these in normal pools, even though it is marketed for above ground pools. I would recommend this to someone, just make sure your pool will like a Kreepy style cleaner.
Good product Keeps getting stuck by the ladder. The description said the circular piece wld avoid that but it doesn't Otherwise good product
So glad I did I absolutely love it!! I used to spend hours before clean the bottom of the pool now you just hook it up and no worries it is fantastic gets the job done
Lasts forever Previously I had a much more expensive pool cleaner and this one was recommended by the company that cleans my pool. Although I have a concrete below ground pool this is my second one and typically the last well over five years.
It’s ok. Works well on my above ground salt water pool, I had a zodiac for my in-ground pool years ago that was better and included weights, disappointing that this one does not. The hose will curl and tangle on the surface needing constant adjustments.
